Maybe things have changed but there was a lot of negativity around this idea awhile ago and has been brought up a few times, and has also been trialed before (on csgo)

I doubt they will make another server for CSS since they're pushing for CSGO now, but then again you never know CS Division does a lot of weird things nowadays your wish may come true. http://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=257609

WOW, that topic has 22 pages of comments for a rotation server! I didn't read through the 22 pages but the public wants one. What's it gonna take to get it? Arm and a leg? I'll start the donation to the cause haha

Lol just goes to show you didn't read it at all. RIP! Go back and read each page if you really believe the majority of them were wanting a rotation server.

It's been suggested and discussed many times

As of this moment, the possibility of getting a new CS:S server stands next to zero. However, if our current CS:GO server (Jail) succeeds, there is the possibility of trying to establish a rotation server there. All I can say is stay tuned!

Another thing is I wanted to Join the CSS special event server last night but could not find the password after an hour of trying. Not sure if is only for full EGO members but I sure couldn't figure it out. Suppose I could have asked on Teamspeak but how many =e= guys will go that far...I didn't. Love eGo and would like to see some focus on CSS

The upcoming event information, including passwords, can be found in the sticky labeled "upcoming event information". Not sure where you were looking for an hour.

The event is for everyone. Check this thread(it gets updated) to get the password or just pass by TS.

no guessing is required, the passwords are literally listed days in advance in the event information thread.

I used to be in the same boat as you. If someone would've asked about GO I might have been the first to say that it's plain awful. I couldn't even differentiate between Ts and CTs let alone aim and the feel of the movement seem slow and sluggish. But after giving it a second try(the first would be the description above) and started playing jail and a couple of servers to get accustomed to the feel of GO and now I cant stay away from it. And the competitions are just plain and simple addicting. To tell the truth GO is frustrating at the begging(from graphics to aim and so on) but once you get accustomed in my opinion it's way better than CSS.

As for being loyal most of us are still loyal but more likely to the CS division instead of Source. Getting PMs lately being asked where I am to if something happened with me,was I banned, why I stopped playing CSS and so on and I reply with I'm playing GO now. Still jump on Italy(over 1700 hours on it- cant be more loyal than that) but would love more players to jump on GO so we can revive our servers there(from dust to office and especially Italy).
That being said I would recommend anyone to try GO (don't forget it can be frustrating at the begging) but it gets better and better especially with updates and make a shift from Source to GO and you wont regret it.
