So, I've been telling myself that I'm going to learn Blender. It's an interesting program that I've been watching evolve for eight or nine years, and it's come a long way.

Today, I had a little spare time at work (go figure), and decided to tinker. This is what I came up with.

There's still something odd with the shadows under the lettering, but ... I'm slowly learning.

Hopefully, as I learn more about Blender and (eventually) how I can script it with Python, I can do some cool stuff. I'd like to figure out how to explort models from Source games into Blender ... 3D sigs, anyone?

Blender is a super high-quality program that is used for 3D modeling, game design, and all-in-all cool stuff. Go to www.blender.org and check it out. If you download it, also check out the "regression files" (at the bottom of the download page) for some amazing examples of what it can do.

You want ALOT of stuff in there, and I want to do it well. (Honestly, I've been getting about two hours of sleep a night, and have been forgetful because of it. I'll start as soon as I get the chance. I'm getting up to speed with Gary's Mod now.)

Oh, don't feel bad, Moose. There's no way you could have. Stupid cough won't go away, and it's making it a real challenge for me (and my wife, bless her soul) to sleep. Hopefully, I'll get a whole six hours tonight, and I'll be right back on track!
