As an advisor, I have to say this is pretty cool to hear. After listening to people in the contest ban forums whine and complain, and having people send me PM's that our rules are "too strict", this was a breath of fresh air. Thank you all for sharing this. And, great job!

Hmm... I can't really improve on my swearing when I don't swear in the first place lol. I can say that eGO has extended the life of TF2 considerably for me. I'm a gamer that usually plays a game for a month and then plays another game. It's been 5 months and TF2 is still fun for me (Although I do get burned out from time to time).

Actually, the sense of community is a large part of what keeps me coming back. I'm a lot like you in that I'll binge on a game or two for a month or so, and then get kind of burned out and spend a month or two playing nothing but Hold 'Em on my cell phone. But this community on the whole and the people I've met have certainly enhanced the overal gameplay experience for me.

Swearing at Sixx on vent more than makes up for any benefits language-wise I've gotten from eGO. 
Seriously though, I have seen people mature greatly in just a short period from being in this clan. People come in, think they're going to have their way with everything, and quickly learn the opposite. Some flame out and leave, but a surprising amount stay, and become better people in the process.
