On my return last week to playing DoD I am sad to see eGO avalanche is not what it use to be.

I will continue to be loyal there and hopefully can get it back to how it was.

It won't hurt for admins to welcome all new comers who join the game.

But seriously, i think its just because DoD is sadly but slowly dying because of its age nad because there are no updates, and you we played at a very uncommon time

Avalanche has plopped down a bit in recent weeks, however we still see regulars on the beat, popping up and joining.

I think it's just with the better weather coming into effect and people going out more- rather than sitting inside and on their computers. :crying:

However, as long as folk like you guys, myself and the rest of the division keep playing, populating and managing the servers accordingly- we can easily let this span out for the future. :w00t:

The players come and go in waves, it happens. All we can do is get on the servers and play (and also be engaging and friendly) and get people hooked!

This comes up all too often regarding bringing back servers and whatnot.

The unfortunate truth is that it just wasn't succeeding as a server because nobody was playing on it. We would try and fill the server, and 20 minutes later it would empty out again. This is partly due to the fact that the veterans who played on the server stopped coming, and the new players would get frustrated and leave.

Unfortunately, nobody wants to play on an empty server, so it declined. And the truth is that if we did bring it back:

1. What server would it replace?
2. Who's gonna play on it?

Let's face it. We have trouble keeping some of our servers now full, namely rotation and Donner. If we can't even get them filled up, why would we waste out time trying to revive Strand? Heck, we even had it on the Rotation server for a while and once it rotated to that map, the server emptied out.

All I'm saying is that if we revived Strand, nobody would play on it.

lol this is confusing.. I thought Anzio was in the top 5 still in the top 100 and I can understand strand but I use to see that full sometimes. and now there's no more second ava? hmmmmm we need a new game plan I think.
we need more promotions that is outside the box? Like someone do a body transformation or a room renovation wearing the eGO gears or something and post it on youtube. lol
