Its not just that imo. I've been playing on avalanche a long time and there's always days where u just can't get a win in because all the good players decide to play on one (winning) team.. Good for my points, sad for the game. Sometimes i just lose two hours in a row because the teams are way off balance skills-wise. But I guess thats hard to controll with so many pubs on the server :/

Yeah that's something that is out of our realm of control, we just try to adapt and adjust the best we can.

Ava is definitely the wild west of all the servers. Everytime I play on Ava it reminds me of a poorly buffered solution. If balanced it is as fast paced and fun as kalt but in an instant it can go to five 30 second round wins in a row from one team.

In which of course the people start dropping like flies from the server.

I might add that poor administration also kill servers. I've witnessed multiple times just in the last week AFK/Spectators getting kicked when servers are not full. We all want tidy servers, but keeping them full is just as much a priority these days.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but if you see a admin kicking a AFK-player or a player in spectate, let them know not to kick until it's full, or if you'd prefer, contact one of leadership, perhaps in particular Superglue or Nuke, so they can address the issue.

Absolutely agree. Certainly take the time to tactfully inform and educate.

I haven't been too active in helping dod because I've mainly been focusing on building up the CS:GO servers and stabilizing their ranks. However, once Jail gains a considerable and self-efficient player-base, I will try my best to devote as much time as possible to keeping dod strong. Also, kudos to you Q, some very good tips. Couldn't have said it better. Camping/being a hardass when there's barely anyone on the server really does hamper filling in any game.
