Do you guys know the trick to getting an armored car for the bank job ?

If not, let me know... The fastest we've completed the mission is in 15 mins.

Anyone else know of any shortcuts ?

You can buy the armored Kuruma after the Flecca Heist, as well as the armored Insurgent after I believe the Humane Labs heist.

The Insurgent I believe is in the warstock car listings, and the kuruma is in the southernandreas car listing.

Haven't gotten the Insurgent myself yet, but the Kuruma, if I recall correctly, costs 525,000.

As far as the Pacific Heist and using them in it - I haven't gotten that far yet, but from what I can tell, unless they patched it, once you get the bikes head to your garage (not sure if it'll show up on the map during the heist, but If possible, go to one that's on the way to the objective so it doesn't take too much time for the heist) if you own one of the armored cars and then have your crew-mates ring the bell and let each of them in, once they're all in, all of you get in the vehicle.

That or you could try hijacking one of the armored vehicles they send, although it might be slower and risky.

i highly recommend getting the armored kuruma. the npcs have pretty much 0% chance to kill you in it because they dont hit the tiny sidewindows. the insurgent is just explosionproof to a certain point but the windows arent bulletproof so its easy to get shot.

as for using any of these in the pacific heist once you have to get out of the bank the only way might be to call your mechanic to deliver it to you. i havent tried it but it usually works in missions.

another option that just came to my mind would be to call in a helicopter extraction from merryweather. let the 2 ppl without bags clear the front of the bank, let them go out and one of them calls in the helicopter. once it lands, kill the pilot and take the helicopter. again, i havent tried since i just though of it but it works in missions. if this works you should be able to cut the time alot since you are flying.
*just remembered that you have to get to the bikes to trigger the next gps. maybe if you combine both things or you stop by the bikes with the helicopters it might still work.

if i find a crew soon ill test it and let you know. if you do test it yourself please let me know here if any of the above worked.

Fire Hazard, I believe he means how to get it in the pacific standard heist (final heist). There is a way garden knows, so you cant take a fully armored car, so you lose little to no money

That is what I was referring to as well - after you do the bank, you have to exit and run to the bikes all during which your reward-money is slowly decreasing (it reportedly stops decreasing once everyone is on the dinghy/boat), no?

Once you get to that point, unless they patched it, you could try one of the options I mentioned.

EDIT - another thing you could try, if you haven't already, with any vehicle choice (bikes included), is the highway -

When you leave the alley the bikes are in, you could try going to the highway (your first turns, if I recall correctly, starting from the alley with the bikes, would be:

right turn (going out of the alley)

left turn (at the intersection close to the alley)

follow the yellow-GPS line and turn left where indicated (on the straight road before the left turn there should be a jump on the right side of the road you could use if you are using the bikes as I believe there is a roadblock next to it)

after-which to your right should be the highway

If you purchase the apartment on Spanish Avenue (Where you drop the bikes off), then you can put the Kuruma in there. During the heist enter the apartment (not the garage) and buzz everyone in. From there bring everyone into the garage and get into the car with everyone before exiting. Getting out of the car at any point outside the garage will make you unable to get back in so be careful.
