When I play online after a few minutes it shows everyone logging off and then i'm alone in the server. I have to restart the game in order to get back online, but then a few minutes later the same thing happens. I've tried to find a fix for this, but all I find on the GTA forums is a link to check network connection. Anyone else having this issue and if so how did you fix it. This doesn't happen with any other game.

It's a common issue with the game, even those with good speeds also have it. Only fix I know of is the one you mentioned - exiting and rejoining, or possibly checking to see if your firewall or anything is blocking a port that is needed for the game.
Another thing you could try, although may only help a little and if applicable to your situation - if you have any other devices connected to the same internet, it may slow down your connection - turn off either the wifi on the devices or the device itself and see if it helps.

like firehazard said, its a common issue. happens to me too. sometimes more, sometimes less.
i cant really provide a fix for it but instead of restarting your game you could just go into the menu, go to the online tab and hit "find new session". this way you wouldnt have to restart the game every time.

Some have had issues with this though where it doesn't connect either when you try to find a new session or after you found one and try to join a friend.
Just a heads up.
thanks for the input guys, I'll keep searching for something and post it here or in a new thread. oh, and now as an update it will no longer let me play on offline mode because I don't have an internet connection. So that just another thing to add to the list to watch out for.
I don't think that Rockstar will ever fix their server connection issues.
I have disconnected several times over the time that the game has been released (I think everyone that has been playing the game has). I hope that in future patches and whatnot that the server connection will be more stable.

Happens here too and I run a 150mbps connection. I guess it is what it is for now atleast.
