So, after Garry's Mod crashed for the third time in a row on my computer, I decided to play with Blender a bit more. I'm still doing some basic experimentation, but I like the results of this round a bit more. There are two versions of this (and I have larger files if you want them).
First, the standard version:
Next, the same thing, but with "toon edge enhancement" turned on. I really like this effect.
These are a lot cleaner than the first one, and they use the official TF2 font.
Now, I just have to get Garry's Mod to behave, and life will be good.
