Before this goes anywhere, understand the following:
Bioware has released it's entire launch team, every single person that was involved in the game from launch to 1 year after release has been fired. All those crappy devs that took 4 hours to install an update are fired.
Bioware has much much much more support since it's initial release, almost quadrupling it's profits.
Bioware has added a LOT of content since launch. Gree events, Relic events, PVP seasons, and more!
Bioware spent almost 300k funding PVP seasons and improving PVP relations on all servers. This is very important for competitive players like me. My team of 5 has come in first place in 3 out of 5 seasons and 2nd in the other season. Season 5 is currently underway and we've stacked three times so far. We're working on the new Ranked Nightmare PVP gear for season 5.
Bioware has merged a lot of old servers, combining a lot of players for better human interactions.
Bioware is currently in process of switching/developing to a new game engine to get rid of the subtle lag that happens when you do 16 man operations.
Bioware's new dev team is astounding. Updates are done in less then an hour, although it's scheduled downtime is for 2. You get fast responses. They are involved heavily in the forums.
A lot has changed. The point of me typing all that is to offer a redemption. I know a lot of us had sour tastes when the game first launched, but to date, it is EA's most money making game. That's why they keep pouring money into it.
------
I have 16 level 60's, which is the max level for now. I am a Guild master on 2 different servers. My raid/op schedule is 7 days a week on 2 servers, along with PVP scheduling in between on my main server.
They just released new content for the Revan story line as well.
Right now they are offering 12x XP boost for all subscribers until Fall. I can level to 60 in less then 8 hours of straight game play. This is very nice for veterans like me who get tired of doing the same side quests over and over and over and over just to get some levels. Now I can do just the main story quest.
Interested? You can play SWTOR for free. If we can get enough people involved again, at least 5 dedicated players from eGO, I'll start bringing all the people I get involved with to OP:X on our forums and I'll add the eGO home page to our home page on our PVP profile, which gets at least a thousand views a day on my main server and between 200-500 views on my secondary server.
Hate playing alone? Let me know. I'll reroll on any server of your choosing just to get people involved in the game again. I really want eGO's trade mark in this game and I know with constant dedicated support, not sporadic bored playing, we can burn our trademark into SWTOR.
