yes flippy i'm also trying the get to grips with hammer (currently about 1/3 compley on the map im creating) i think that a server with map by the community for the community would be teh best

I've been brainstorming a map for a while. It'd be a CP map, with the five control points positioned in a V shape. There would be a sort of circular pathway underground, with entrances coming out at the second control point of each team and one at the middle point. The above ground details I'm still working out.

I think some custom maps would be awesome. I was randomly playing on custom maps yesterday and came across one that was a brand new intel map. Not exactly sure how everything works yet but is was fun and could be amazing from what I played

It has to be EGO custom made maps. Compare this to fast-food... there is only one place you can get a big-mac, why shouldn't it be an exclusive server for those EGO maps?

I think its a smashing idea. I would vote for custom EGO maps every time. I have been to other servers and played on some custom maps and there seems to be some really good maps out there but this is rather negated by the bad language and behaviour of other players .

When you have played on the EGO servers you really have been spoilt and theres no going back.

On EGO we have good standards and a great community on the whole.

So I would like to see more custom maps for sure and then I will never have to go and vist those other crummy servers just to have a bit of a change

I think they are both awesome and this idea should be considered for our next server.

A blend of custom maps as well as eGO made maps would be nice, because this way we can have our own masterpieces shown off, while still playing insane maps such as ctf_hallofdeath.

wow i never expected this kind of respons i think there is 1 thing one every ones lips ego maps for ego players!!
if this were to go ahead then we would need some thing like sixxguns recrutment area but maybe [enter name here's] custom map section. then we could have may be 6 maps on a voting system , they seam to be quite effectiv, then each month any map builder post there map with a discription and some screen shots on the forms the we hav a vote on them. thats just what i would do i was working it out in my head last night and seems to work. what do u guys think?

I would REALLY like to see Mach 4 get in the rotation. being a sniper at heart, I love that map
