Thoughts and prayers...

Hey guys,

On top of all the other crap going on with my family (i.e. my grandmother's mind, my dad's disability), two other family members have been diagnosed with cancer.
My great uncle (my mom's uncle) was diagnosed with colon cancer a few weeks ago and now, after surgery, the cancer has metastasized in his intestine...which means it's only a matter of time for him...
Also, I received notification last night that one of my absolute favorite uncles (my dad's brother-in-law) was diagnose with esophageal cancer...surgery for him is not an option, and they're meeting on Monday with an Oncologist to find out what CAN be done about it...
In the midst of my great joy, I find great sorrow...I just ask that you guys keep them in your thoughts and prayers, and the rest of my family as well in this difficult time. I thank you all for your support.

been there, done that, friend... and it's a lousy road. If your family is anything like you are, you will all come through just fine. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers, and wish you the best of luck on top of that.

Moose, I am so sorry to hear this about your family. I will keep you all in my thoughts. Stay strong, man. Everything will turn out OK in the end.
 
I hope things take a turn for the best real soon for you moose. I know men arent supposed to cry but yeah I shed a tear or two reading your post. My prayers are with you and your family.
 
I'm so sorry Moose, that really must be hard. :( I'm always here if you wanna chat, and I'm sure many others are too. We're here for you man!

I don't know you but please have my best wishes. One of my friends Dad passed away yesterday, it is in times like these that we realise that life is the most precious thing we've got.
