Just minutes ago, Bethesda teased the next installment in the Fallout series, Fallout 4 (originally rumored to be "Fallout: Shadows of Boston) on their Twitter. The @BethesdaStudios Twitter account has also received a makeover, the background changing to the iconic "Please Stand By" with a "Rating Pending" sticker.

The link in the official tweet directs to the Fallout website, which has also been redone to show a timer ending in 22 hours at the time of writing. The source code of the webpage teases the Masterbrain from Fallout 3, but otherwise holds nothing significant.

Bethesda's Twitch channel has also been renamed to #PleaseStandBy. The reveal will likely take place there when the timer runs out.

More information will also likely be given during Bethesda's E3 conference on June 14 at 7:00 PM Pacific</div>

Yawn. What else is new? Going to wait 2-3 years until mods can fix the initial broken product. Unless some miracle happens and it turns out to be like New Vegas (with patches and mods) or they do a complete 180 and make it a turn-based isometric RPG (like the original 2 Fallouts), I'm not hyped at all.

A'ight, now for my opinions:

-Fallout 3 was bad. Not as a game, but as a Fallout title. Poor story, no choices, breaking canon, retconning its own ending, and not being able to run on any computer past Windows XP. Bethesda pls.

-Skyrim gives me anxiety, because the same problems and more existed in Skyrim that also existed in Fallout 3. Skyrim had a completely bonkers story and, quite frankly, too much to do in a world full of nothing to do.

-Both Skyrim and Fallout 3 suffered from the same flaw in the writing: Everything was about you. That's to be expected in an RPG, of course, but Fallout 3 pulled out this "destiny" bullcrap at the end of the vanilla game. Skyrim made you literally a god.

-Every NPC in Skyrim knew who you were and always had something to say to you about you, it got annoying. Fallout has always handled this well, but Skyrim honestly made me want to stop playing. The miscellaneous NPC dialogue was usually atrocious and there was no moral system. You were always a "good guy".

-Skyrim oversimplified the stats system, making it so you have to grind to get perks. Things like DT, DR, and DPS would often come down to a single "rating" number.

Fallout is often seen as one of the last true RPGs today. In the case of New Vegas, made by a company that cranks out the best RPGs (Obsidian), that was the case. I'm hoping Bethesda doesn't mess up and delivers a quality product. I'm still hype, but I'm keeping an eye on reviews and gameplay videos.

I still like the way Black Mesa did it. Got more chills from that :P

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what I prefer to see:

(Might also be due to this being my favorite intro sequence to any game due to the monologue.)

Ever since the announcement hit the web, my Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Email and cell have been blowing up. Freakin awesome!
