Yup, the Steam Summer Sale is supposed to be dropping come Thursday, so prepare your poor bill holders and pocketbooks now because they're going to be hurting very shortly.

How do I/we know it's the 11th? It was accidently leaked and a Paypal email of some sort appears to have confirmed it. So if you're on the fence about buying something, put it off for a day or two and be happy when you can buy another game with the saved cash!

Correction: GTAV with a Shark card (to 'increase' the base price) is on sale for 30% off so that the game still costs you 59.99 even though it's ON SALE!!!

That's some shady shenanigans, Rockstar.
 
If you looked in the first 5 mins of the sale it had 95% off by accident and was ?12 for me... Didnt manage to pick it up due to steam crashes though :(

Also the paypal emails and images are not "leaks" it's all a market scheme from steam to attract more attention and hype it up.

Yeah. they did this last year or the year before. I think they do it so that it gives you a day or two to comfort your wallet while it sleeps before the sacrifice.
 
Some of the games claim to be on sale, but the price has raised and than dropped with 25% or more procent, with just a minor bonus to justify the raise.
This also happend with the Mustang pack for warthunder.
