Mod Malware Alert.

Attention Edge-Gamers!

Have you installed the Angry Planes or NoClip mod?

There is malware embedded in both of those mods. Some sort of key-logger. Be sure to delete these files immediately, and follow the guide on the GTA Forums to protect yourself further.

Just adding on - but if you have used a program or mod that is infected, such as this, if possible change any passwords you may have used after installing it on a separate device, but also be sure to run a scan on the infected computer and remove the infected program. (Depending on how deep the malware went, you may also need to reformat the entire thing, as one of my family members had a similar issue with malware on theirs not too long ago)

Pretty sad that some people are really that desperate for money that they would do that. I heard they pulled thousands of dollars from several different Youtubers and changed passwords too.

Do these mods just change the looks of things? Other wise how are u not getting banned lol. FYI if u got free money from the so called hackers better watch out. They been deleteing accounts and giving 2 week bans and removing the money.

Some mods are easier to get away with. Money and RP hacks show up more evidently on their records and they focus their bans and account edits on those users using those. Trainers and stuff like that that spawn weapons or peds temporarily are a little bit different. I don't try this stuff anymore. But I will be modding SP especially since the BIG police mod (made by the people who made the police mod for GTA:IV) should be coming out tomorrow (6/18).
