Sir Christopher Lee, the veteran actor and star of many of the world's biggest film franchises, has died aged 93.
Many of you may not know, but Mr. Lee volunteered to fight alongside the Finnish when World War II broke out. In Lee's first film, The Curse of Frankenstein, he played Frankenstein's monster and met his close friend, Peter Cushing. Needless to say, this was the start of an amazing career and wonderful movies delivered to us by Mr. Lee and friends.
Some notable films that Mr. Lee has been apart of is Lord of The Rings trilogy. He played Saruman. He also starred as Count Dooku in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
In the gaming industry, he has shared his voice for the Lord of the Rings games, Freelancer, Kingdom Hearts, and the Everquest series.
Sadly, Mr. Lee has passed away on Sunday morning and eGO wishes to give our sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. Please join us in honoring Mr. Lee with a final farewell as he has delivered us entertainment time and time again.
