Tech Help Problem

Ok, so Tuesday steam does a maintenance routine so my steam crashed and I couldnt log in so 6 hour pass and I still cant log in so I uninstall steam and can sign in but cant do any of the following: Access my gmail, steam store, community market, Workshop, add friends, access my profile or inventory, but yet i can do all of this stuff on my phone but not my PC :S Everytime I try to do all of those things it displays this message:

Error Code: -102

Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet. I can sign in and play games but cant do whats above

If anyone can give me some help on how to fix this it would be much MUCH appreciated.

If you are still having issues even with logging off/on a couple times, try the following:

Open Notepad as administrator
Enter C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts in the open dialogue box.
Check if any Steam URLs are in the file.
If yes, remove them and save the file. (Save them elsewhere just in case this doesn't fix it)

When maintenance comes around just try logging in periodically, and eventually you should be able to get back in without the need to reinstall.

I'm not sure what Gmail access has to do with the steam client.

In other words, something else is wrong with your computer and it sounds like it is network related (which is sort of the path that FireHazard was going down"

Is it only the Steam client or other things as well?

Only my steam client i can still play CSGO and other games access the internet but not the steam client things
