Help! I need a video card recomendation

I use my machine for work and gaming. I have an Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 - but I need to drive two DVI monitors.

I have been driving one on DVI and one on VGA - but I notice a slowdown in graphics if they are both running.

Any recommendations? My criteria is that it be better than the GTS 250, and has two DVI ports.

Guess it would also have to be dependant on your budget, really. How much are you willing to spend? A minor upgrade would be to go the GTX 260, which has dual DVI, and go for the 30-50 range on eBay. I have a GT 660 Ti that has dual DVI and HDMI, running triple monitors shows no slowdowns and I get decent framerates in most modern games. They seem to go for the 100-130 price range on eBay. Another hundred or so gets you the 780 series cards. A budget without a ceiling would warrant the recommendation of the 960-980 series cards in the nVidia flavor.

Not too familiar with the ATI flavor of things, as I have not ran anything ATI in a long time, but I'm pretty sure that a mid-to-high range card that has dual DVI or HDMI (or even a displayport) would satisfy your needs.
