What has happened to the TF2 Division?

Hello. My name is Rayne (In-Game/Steam/Forums: .Rain, previously Rider)

It has been nearly four to five years since I have played on the Team Fortress 2 Division for EdgeGamers, and I decided to make a return recently.

However, as I soon discovered, something was amiss.

The servers, all three of them, were ghost-towns.

No players were online, at all.

I checked the next day, at different times, to see if there was any players.

None.

I think there is a growing problem with the Team Fortress 2 Division and it's lack of players, unless I am just coming on at the wrong times everytime I join a server.

Is that it? I couldn't find the eGO servers, I guess that's why... Wait, we only have 3 servers? What happened to 10?

People stopped filling and they had no choice but to remove them. Also there are random times where we will have people

Has it been like this ever since the rxg incident? I know Kazoo and Goyan-Tanuki were pretty hardcore about keeping the servers filled, and I always helped out when I could. What about the fast fill task force?

The fourth one is an event server. Not one I can hop on any ol day and get some good shootin on.

All of our servers are very capable of getting/staying full. 2Fort and Turbine will sustain themselves if the pox known as Quickplay is activated, DB is still a popular map.

What I need is more members to play

It's true, we've had lower population than we have had historically. We've still got many dedicated members that are doing their all to climb us back up the rankings, and I don't think we're going to completely die anytime soon.

The quickplay changes, rapid changes in leadership for various reasons and other things are what caused the decline. The weekend is probably the best time to try and find someone on them though.
