My account got hit before I read the thread.

Beware if my account comes up as a message on steam. I sent nothing out. I clicked on a hacker message which used listed =(e)= bbgun188.

bbgun is a member, but he fell prey to the same thing.

Just adding on to what I mentioned on the other thread - If you do click on the link and it downloads a file, DO NOT change passwords or enter any passwords until after you've removed the file and run scans (virus scan, malware scan, etc)

If it didn't download a file, then you should be good as far as passwords go, although if you want to anyways you can change your passwords on a separate device just in case. Whatever you do though, be sure to run the scans.

=(eGO)= Ravage

Best thing is to send out messages to your friends etc warning them for this !

Yea I got the scr file as well. Never download anything from steam chat no doubt. Good time to update the password and make it better and stronger than before!
