9800GX2 released!

I looked into it. Two 8800 GTS Cards smacked together on a heatsink. Boy thats original. and its not 512bit its 256bit.
 
Isn't that something else?


Yeah, this looks to be a pair of 9800 GPUs on a single board.

And [link=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130338]the specs on this[/link] does say 512 bit. I've had good experiences with EVGA so I'm inclined to believe that.

Wouldn't pay 600 to upgrade, but I might if I was building a new system, as an alternative to SLI.
 
I'll still take the cost of my 8800gt SLI setup over this...

I dont think i'll be doing quad SLI.... especially since my PC Power and Cooling silncer 750w isn't even reccomended. Minimum 850+ for your PSU.

Geez.
 
It isn't 512bit. Its the two 256bit gpus. People trying to sell add it together, but it doesn't work that way. Regardless NOT worth the upgrade.
 
The card is far too overrated. It's not going to be good until they fix the drivers (right now it crashes in some games if you turn any filters on), and it won't reach it's full potential until the drivers are fixed. As time goes on, though, this'll be the biggest and best thing evarz [until ATi comes out with new addition to top-of-the-line which is coming out in Q3 supposedly, or late Q2].

I am pretty sure there is not quad SLi, unless your talking about physically having 4 gpu;s but just with two cards?

Yes 4 physical GPU's in only 2 card slots...
