Your Favorite Movies Ever?

I really enjoy movies, all kinds of movies from 30's Swedish black and white to modern day action comedies and so I'd like to give you guys my top 5 list as to what my favorite movies are.

But I'm more interested in your choices, I'd love to hear what your favorite movies are so that if I haven't seen them already I can watch them when I have free time.

Anyways, here are mine:

1. Clockwork Orange
2. Eyes Wide Shut
3. Apocalypse Now
4. 2001: Space Odyssey
5. Whiplash

One thing I can't stand is the statement that 'modern movies are trash' which is complete rubbish. Just like with music there have always been a lot of bad movies and this is why when people look back at the 60's or 70's music or movie scene all they listen to/watch is really the 'best of the 60's/70's' I'm sure that anyone who lived those years would be able to tell you all about the type of 'bubblegum' pop torture there was. The fact is that there always has been and always will be bad music and this goes the same for movies, yes we had 'The Room' in 2003 but then we had 'Kingsman' in 2015, you just gotta tune yourself into the good stuff.

I Like a lot of movies, as long as a good and realistic story in it.
This means i don't like movie's like harry potter and starwars.

In my oppinion there is no more beautyfull movie than the Band of brothers serie.
I really love this movie , watching it over and over again.
The followup movie of band of brothers The pasific is Also an amazing movie !!

Besides that i like war movies, action, or a good laugh !

I honestly don't know what you're talking about. The Room was an unmitigated masterpiece, centering around an intimate portrait of a man whose life is literally being torn apart.

Can you not see the agony on Wiseau face and hear the gut wrenching sadness in his voice? He plays the epitome of a broken man and it saddens me that people mock and ridicule Wiseau. For he is truly one of the greatest auteurs of our generation.

Yes well, I probably should have stopped to think for a moment before I said what I did about that film. I was being completely inappropriate and for that I am sorry. I can only hope that if/when 'The Room 2' comes out I will make it to be first in the line to personally shake Mr. Wiseau's hand and beg his forgiveness before I enter the cinema for what will be undoubtedly the movie of our generation.
