What's the minimum Mbps I'll need for gaming? I'll be moving in a month or so.

Currently have 60 Mbps but that was for three people that all gamed in the same house. New place will be me and possibly my brother in the future who games as well. I mostly play DoDs, LoL, BF4, war thunder, and any other random games I get talked into buying while having impaired judgement late at night.

60 will be more then enough for whatever you are doing, but as I do get the most you can for what you can reasonably afford. More is always better in this case. Some places also have loyalty rewards you just have to ask about them. Been with the same provider for years? get in contact with a CSR and see if there is anything they can do to get you a deal on something better for a lower price or anything else.

13980/ 889 Kbps according to Modem page (or Speedtest: 11.92Mbps Download - .76Mbps Upload)

And this is usually with 2 others on netflix, 1 other on a computer for work-related things, and myself gaming. (and 2-3 phones, although those tend to have the wifi off)..

That and *possibly* a city-based wire corrosion problem but not certain on that.

Aside from occasional ping spikes (and the possible issue mentioned above), can't complain with mine.

60Mbps is total bandwidth for the month?
What is more imporatant is the up/down like FireHazard is showing (sorry Fire).

Get the higher up (I have 20Mbps down/5 Mbps up) . The provide switches you to the faster routers in/out of your area if you upgrade the up.

The provider has you on the rest of the other people if you stick with the down 386 bps or 786 bps.

It does require a different modem from the provider than the slower speed modem..

I have 30 Mbps and it seems to be fine for DoD: Source.

In your case, 60Mbps should be more than enough for you to play DoD: source while your other two roommates stream.
