New Hardware Monitors

There may be a post about this, i did not dig too deep, anyway, what monitors does everyone recommend?

Couple of things that decides the recommendation:
1) Gaming, work, simple browsing?
2) Can your GPU handle dual or triple monitors?
3) Budget available?
4) DVI or HDMI?
5) Bigger the better? Functionality? Size of desk or setup area?

Personally, I would love to have 3x24" monitors. Got an LG 24" monitor with height, swivel, and tilt adjustments. Make it landscape or portrait. Not bad for gaming (as I don't get eye fatigue very much) and with the swivel into Portrait mode, got an immediate setup for stock trading if I want. Only problem is they don't make this model anymore; got lucky and a friend found a brand new one for $100 that I could buy. The ones like this go for about $200-300 apiece now.

Don't forget to consider desk space (does it limit the size/number of monitors that you can have) and upgradeability and future accomodations for new technology (HDMI and/or DisplayPort)

do u want 1080p? 2k? 4k? 8k? monitors.

I would get a 4k monitor. You can get them for 500ish now. Just make sure you have a rig that can run it otherwise your wasting your money.

If you are planning to play more fps games. I would recommend getting 144Hz monitor, otherwise get surround set montiors.

I would recommend a ROG Swift. Expensive but worth every penny if you have a nvidia card (you will never experience screen tearing again *promise!). Plus the 144hz refresh rate is awesome.

Ah I see. For a 1080 monitor I would say the Ben Q is indeed the best choice. For 1440 I would go ROG swift. If I was about to get a new monitor I might have to wait for the upcoming 4k g-sync monitors from ASUS.
