As most of you know, our sponsor gamerail will be providing us with game servers. They were elated when we launched the link on our site, because they had a dramatic influx of people to their site. Here are the numbers as of today of how many people from eGO have signed up with gamerail.

Edge Gaming Sign-ups

2/22/2008 2
3/7/2008 2
3/8/2008 1
3/12/2008 1
3/14/2008 132
3/15/2008 89
3/16/2008 39

That is a total of 266 signups from our organization.

These numbers are very good, but lets make them better. If you havent made an account yet with gamerail, please do so. It is free to do, and you are helping out eGO in the process. A good sponsor is a happy sponsor!

I did sign up, too bad it didnt help me :( Ping is still around 140..

I used it at home but here at school I can't. Lowered my ping by about 20 at home. I noticed in their T & S your account is only free for 30 days, is that in effect or only after their beta is done?

From my understanding, they are sending a code to us when they send the server info. This will make it free for eGO.

Yeah they are doing us a huge favor by doing this, so tell whoever you know ^^ And click the link in the right corner of our site, rather than going directly to the site through typing or going througha url so yeah, and thanks bigherm fro getting these people interested in us^^

This thread was not intended to ask if it works for you or not. Its going to work for some, but not all. All we ask is that you make an account to show our sponsor that we appreciate what they are going to do for us. I dont mean to sound rude, but we have to keep our sponsor happy by supplying them with traffic to their website.

Yup I signed up. Made my ping great the first day, went from 80 average to about 63.... Now I average at about 90-97 with it running. Sometimes flux's between the two. :( But, when it does work it works well. :) I recommend it to everyone, great program.

I just signed up for it yesterday, and got about four others to do the same, all with "Edge Gamers" as the referrer. While it only gave me only about 3-4 better ping than internet (according to the tester) to the Gravelpit server, I have a really good internet connection in the first place. The others reported 30+ improvement. Don't know if I'll use it or not in the long run, but I think a couple of them might.

I signed up the other day. It makes a difference. My ISP is awful when it comes to latency. I get a ping of nearly 800 sometimes on a service that is supposed to be 720kb per second.
