Tech Help Budget computer

So I want to build my own gaming PC but I want it to be under $700
Any tips on what to get?

You've already established your max spending amount so that's a start. I would take every dollar of that and get the biggest bang for your buck. As a general rule AMD tends to be more for the budget gamers. I would think you could get at least a six core cpu, a 2-3gb graphics card and would highly suggest an SSD, they are very reasonably priced now and are a "game changer". If you want to save money I would do it with your case, don't get anything fancy and save from that, you should not have to pay more then $50 for a decent case.

If you are able to build your own computer, and are not asking for a prebuilt $700 computer. Here is an idea to start with, I have this build minus that Power supply and graphics card. The RAM is a bit slow but you never really notice it too much, the HDD is just a basic one and I have had mine for 2 years with no problem (I did upgrade to SSD but I still use the HDD as a storage drive). I am sure there are better builds but just an idea.

Quick build. If you need an optical drive just add it. Did not include the OS, but if you are really on a budget you can always opt into the windows 10 forever beta testing till you can afford an OS.
