Ok my questions is, Is there a way to have Peoples voices come out of your headset/mic and the sound of the game to come out of your speakers?

Reason i ask this is because i use a USB Gigawear Headset but when i use it both the game sound and voices come out of it. It's kind of annoying because the voices will be scratchy sometimes.

Does anyone know a way to fix this so it will be, Game Sound coming from Speakers and Voices coming from Headset/Mic?

Errr... did you ask this exact same question before?

I very strongly remember this topic.


But either way, this is possible, but I haven't seen it done and I can't imagine it being done without some very specific help from Valve. It would require isolating the audio channels and splitting them. And then beyond that it would require your headphones and speakers to be plugged into two separate output sources, something that can be done with a single audio card configured properly.
