Battlefield 4 PSA: Don't call out cheaters in chat!

I've noticed a few instances lately of members accusing someone of cheating in all chat. If they are cheating, it does nothing but let them know you are suspicious, and they may toggle it off making it more difficult to get evidence. If they are not cheating, it just makes you look silly and reflects poorly on the rest of the division.

So, if you think someone is cheating: Don't call them out in chat! Look up their stats and spectate them; gather evidence without alerting them that you are doing so. If you find evidence of cheating, submit a ban request.

Thank you for the reminder to everyone! :)

Pretty sure every division has this somewhere in their BAT.

Agreeing with Sharknado. Also, eG's and eGO's have access to admin chat. So that chat should be used when discussing cheaters for those who can use it.

Good info. I usually ignore them when they do this as to not alert the player in question an admin is on. Then pull up spectate and their stats in bf4db.

Yeah the last thing you want while recording a demo is for someone to say "admin we have a hacker"

I made a similar thread about this in the admin forums not too long ago as well, although the prefix is for all divisions since it was something I noticed while playing in various servers.

Thanks for the reminder!

Good post :]

never Rage quite if someone is killing you and you think thy are cheating use the cheat detectors and check the user out and if they have 100% cheat or 99% request a ban for the leadership team to look into and take the matter in a better way
