Tech Help TS hotkey issue

out of nowhere today my mouse 4 button stopped being recognized or whatever by TS that i had set as my push to talk hotkey. but the button still functions properly in my web browser so i know it works. the weirdest part is buttons 1, 2, 3 and 5 are recognized on TS for hotkeys. so i reset push to talk to 5 and changed in in game to 4 so its not too big of an issue but im just curious as to why that would just all of sudden be an issue after using mouse 4 for push to talk for the past couple weeks or so

UPDATE: still having issues. now mouse 5 button wont register with TS. ive triend to find something online but havnt found anything that works. any suggestions please

Funny that you say this, this randomly happened to me about a week ago. Just mid conversation it said it was a hotkey but it just did not work. What I did to fix it was open options and set my primary to BUTTON 4, then went to hotkeys and also added Push-To-Talk Receiver also to button 4 and fixed it. When I was looking into this, this has been a problem since 2013 which is weird. I guess simply going to hotkeys and press ok can reset it but I don't know. Feel free to find me in TS if anything else comes up or what not.

A few questions:

- What OS (Operating System) do you use?

- Are you using the latest TS version or older?

- Do you have any add-ons installed for TS?

- What Keyboard/Mouse do you use? Do you have or use a macro program with either of them?

i have an in game chaat overlay plug in
i use a logitech m510

I have had a similar problem in the past were the solution was to simply uninstall and reinstall TS- Bingo! =)

it was actually a software program i had downloaded for my mouse so i can edit the buttons. anytime that was open in the backround buttons 4 and 5 wouldnt work or theyd bug out. i noticed it and closed it and instantly those buttons worked so i just deleted it

Try clearing your temps
