Tech Help School Laptop/Ultrabook

Looking for a decent laptop solely for school, must have a minimum of: Intel Core I5, 8 GB RAM, Under 5 pounds.

Would prefer to not go to much higher then 1500 CND, really all depends on whats in it.

Would like some suggestions please.

+1 on the Yoga, I see a lot of those at my school.

I know I will get hate, but did you look at the apple options? If you are coding I'd imagine you want to be able to use OS X (for X-Code) in addition to Windows.

It's mainly focused around Java and C++.

The Yoga 3 (not-pro) has a stronger cpu and graphics, the pro reduces weight and cuts corners
