Depends on your budget and what this second computer will be used for.

If it's just a rig you game on irregularly you could drop the unlocked i5 for a locked one and stick with the slandered cooler. Not a huge saving but any little will help.

You can also drop the GPU down to a 970/390. If you are looking for something even lower then that I would take the 380 over the 960, The 4gig vram 960 is not really worth it. Your GPU will run out of pow before vram limitations become an issue. (This will make the most difference price wise to your build)

The PSU is a bit over kill if you are looking for a single gpu solution, you could drop down to a 500w and still be fine. Not a huge saving but will help

The last thing to save on some money would be to drop your SSD to a 120gb version. This should be plenty for your OS which is the most important thing to have on an SSD and one or two games.
That should almost half the price of your SSD.

But really it depends on the type of budget you want to spend and what the computer will be used for.

if you're looking to cut cost, I'd say the GPU would be the first place to do so.

750W for the PSU is a bit overkill too. Something around 500W would work just as well.

Then I would stick with what I said earlier and what Reflex reinforced.

Your biggest saving will come from a cheaper GPU 970 or 390, and a drop of your PSU down to a 500 watt. If you are doing a lot of editing tho you might want to cheek out a four core Xeon. It's not much more then the CPU you have picked but it will perform loads better with the hyper treading for editing.

another thing that occurred to me, Intel released Skylake desktop processors like last week. Investing in 1150 seems kind of unwise since its already obsolete. You'd also need to swap the DDR3 ram for DDR4.

That is if you can even find any in stock. The chip set just came out and they have been having stocking problems.

If you can find a 6000 series Skylake chip that does not have a huge premium slapped on it do to market demand go for it. But if you have to settle for a Haswell chip set that will be fine too. In no way is Haswell obsolete at the current moment.

What I got from the OP first post was that he built the computer he wanted but budget is holding him back, he is trying to build a great rig but what we really need to know is the budget on what OP is willing to spend.
