Tech Help Windows 10 and Punkbuster

I got the Windows 10 "upgrade" from Microsoft on my desk top, but now can't connect to Bad Company 2 servers. The error message is Communication Server Failure, which PunkBuster says means it's my firewall. But even if I turn the new Windows Firewall completely off, I get the same error message.

I posted this in the Battlefield forums, with limited response. Anyone else wanna make a stab at how to get me in the game?

Quick research shows that some are experiencing the same and for others it's working just fine with Win 10. Possible fix that others claimed to have solved the problem have been to reinstall both the game and punkbuster.

First you can try to completely uninstall Punkbuster and reinstall the latest version.

If that does not solve it, try running the pbsvc.exe from Punkbuster:

I was able to fix it with removal and reinstall PunkBuster (the second time). The first time had the same problem, and even with turning the firewall off it still wasn't talking.

Open pbsvc.exe (as admin) and click install/reinstall.
