Tech Help Need a new gaming headset

Currently using a Logitech G930 wireless headset, and getting tired of the signal drops that wireless comes with. Looking for recommendations for a replacement.

Price range: Ideally $100 or less, could go up to $130 if it would get me a much better quality item.

Necessities:
+ Around the ear setting, anything that sits on my ear causes discomfort after a while
+ Built in mic- I dislike the ones that are built into the cord, however
+ Comfortable
+ Durable

Would be nice but not necessary:
+ 7.1 or 5.1 surround sound
+ Decent cord length (5+ feet)
+ Also good for music/movies
+ On ear or on cord volume control (I like the one the G930 has, for example)

i have a Razer Kraken USB mouse, i enjoy it. believe it meets everything you said above. i know you can get it at best buy.

I just got a new Astro A40. I think the mic and sound quality is pretty good.
The low-end on certain games (CS:GO) is a bit much. I don't need that much base in my game.
They are 'warm' to wear, but very comfortable. A bit pricey.
