Getting G in eG

TL;DR - Find ways to make yourself recognized by your divisions' leadership team. The more you do that helps eGO in any way, the more likely you could get a promotion.
Below I've posted various ways you can get yourself recognized, including just from being in-game/on the servers, as well as other ways.

First off - Another member, Quaffer, made a good post about ways to get yourself noticed/recognized for a possible promotion. If you want, you can read it here: Thread Link
That aside, and correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but promotions can vary as far as how quickly or when someone gets promoted - Some get promoted within a week or earlier, some a few weeks or a month, etc - different things are taken into account, but it all depends on getting yourself recognized. Even the smallest thing could get leaderships' attention.
I know some members that were promoted that either are or have been in the same situation you are that are very active in-game but not as much on the forums or TeamSpeak.
But the words 'Activeness' or 'Activity' are very open terms, if that's the right way to put it, meaning there can be a number of things that are taken into account when being chosen for a promotion, such as what you've mentioned with being active on the forums, TeamSpeak, and in-game, the latter of which, being in the servers, you mentioned you are very active in.

Ways to get yourself recognized in-game/on the servers
Listed below are a few other things that may also be taken into account, and are possible to do in-game (with perhaps a little usage of the forums or TS) -
- Do you yourself uphold the rules/Code of Conduct?
- Do you help keep the servers clean and warn players if you see them break a rule and there isn't a admin already in the server, or if there is a admin in the server do you let them know of the issue? if there isn't a admin, do you try to find one if one is needed, or if none are available do you post a ban request on the player?
- If you think there's a hacker on the server, do you call them out on it, or instead do you try to find a admin if there isn't one in the server already or record a demo of the player and post a ban request?
(If you believe someone is hacking, don't ever call them out on it. Just record a demo and submit a ban request and/or try finding a admin if there isn't one already in the server)
- If you see a eGO member of any rank breaking the rules or being disruptive, do you let a member of leadership know of it?
- Do you attend events hosted by your division?
(Or possibly other divisions' events? ; events are most of the time held on the Event server of the respective division)
- Do you help fill or try to fill servers that are empty or near empty?
- Do you look into recruiting potential members who also follow the rules?
As you can see, there are a number of ways you can get yourself recognized just from playing on the servers, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some that I missed or forgot to list.

Ways to get yourself recognized on the forums
Although you mentioned you aren't active on the forums, there's a few additional ways that could help you get recognized when you are browsing/checking the forums, such as:
- If you have a idea or suggestion you think might benefit eGO in a positive way, do you let leadership know of it via contacting the appropriate leadership member or posting it in the Dropbox forum if you aren't sure who to ask?
- If you see a fellow member doing any of the positive things I've mentioned in this post, or a positive thing I may not have mentioned, and you think they deserve to be promoted, do you post a Promotion Recommendation in the Dropbox forum?
(Not sure if this would apply if the member is a full O-rank, but eh
)
- If you see a fellow member that meets the standards or requirements of a forum award, do you post a Award Recommendation in the Dropbox forum?
- When making a new post or a new thread, is it related to the thread or forum you're posting on and not spam, off-topic or degrading?
(Degrading basically meaning 'putting down' someone, or being rude/disrespectful - not the same as constructive criticism, or sharing your thoughts in a positive manner on a idea someone else posted or a new feature that was added)

There's likely a few other ways that I may have missed, but to the point - The more you can get yourself recognized by others, particularly leadership, the more likely you could get promoted.
None of these are required to get promoted, and it's understandable if there's things you either don't want to do or aren't able to do, but each of these are different ways one can get recognized. As I mentioned earlier, I've seen other members get promoted that either are or have been in the same situation as you, as well as in other situations.

I was an e for about 6 months. The really only trick is to be active. Talk on teamspeak a lot, play on the servers, participate in events, etc. You have to also prove that you are mature enough to handle being an admin. Once you earn your G it is a big responsibility. You have the powers to control the server pretty much. Bottom line, suck up to the DLs (not really).

I was an e for over a year (with a period of inactivity) but it was when I got back into it and made an effort to get onto TS and participate and basically get to know people that got me promoted.
Obviously always uphold the standards and do your best, even as an e to make sure that things are running smoothly on servers. The G will come
