Welcome to the Bullet of Bullets
eGO DoD:S Division 1v1 Tournament!

This will be a bracket style event, where you will be put head to head against your friends to determine who is the best marksman in the DoD:S Division! This will be a double elimination tournament, so 2 losses will result in being kicked out of the tournament.



Event Details

Date and Time: Friday August 28th @ 7:30 PM EST
Location: DoD:S Event Server/TeamSpeak

Match Rules

Stock Maps
First to 10 kills wins
Rifle ONLY (i.e. Garand vs K98)
Matches will be randomized
Sides are determined by picking 1-10; winner chooses preferred side

Prizes Include

1st Place: 1 $20 Steam game (courtesy of stewie)
2nd Place: 1 Month Dedicated Supporter
3rd Place: 1 Week Dedicated Supporter

To enter, simply reply to this thread with your username and why you're the best shot around! Registration will end Thursday, August 27th at midnight.

Dont let my old age fool you. I am wily, and when the smell of blood in the air hits my senses, my eyes sharpen and my rifle fires straight and true. Woe be to he/she that pits themselves against me in battle! <cough cough> I mean, I'm in, and probably the first out. Should be fun :)

Just a few questions about this....first what is the play style...anything goes or more of an Attack vs Attack. Ava is better in my opinion...laying down in a corner with garand to get kills doesn't show me you're a better marksman. I know you said anything in the rifle class is allowed. Are we basing that off the original class? Rifle did not get a pistol its a plugin for that class, my point being spraying a pistol doesnt show any marksman skill at all...lastly, is medic allowed or no?

Yes, it's attack vs attack.
Yes, medic is allowed.

I'll have to think about that last point. I think it would be more fun if the whole class was available for use, but you're right, it's not a good way to determine skill. I'll get back to you all when a decision is made.

On most days the 1700 PST events are usually not free for me to play but here's hoping that I can. I would love to participate in 1vs1 rifle class challenge....because it's a challenge and stuff.
 
Rule update!

Instead of rifle class being entirely open, it is going to be just the rifles themselves, so no shovels, rifle nades, or pistols will be allowed.
