Viking 2GB DDR2667 (that is 667, not 800MHz - be careful)
E6300 (the first core2 released), 1.86, never overclocked
That is the CPU and RAM. I have moved on since (Q6600 and Corsair XMS2 DDR2800). It is the remains of what got scavenged from my old computer. I think I can safely give them away free, the E6300 is practically obsolete and the RAM isn't even manufactured anymore (at least, Newegg no longer lists it). I am pretty sure (!!) they work - they did when I pulled them out. Hey, it's free =D
So if anyone wants that, they will work with a motherboard that supports Core2Duo and DDR2667. Make sure you have that and they will work perfectly. Although, almost any core2 you have currently will make this a step down because of how old it is, from '06, so these might be better for people wanting to save on a new build. You can overclock the Core2 to higher clocks and overclock the RAM the DDR2800 by ramping the voltage. ^^
I'd give you the motherboard too but it is 650i, and the hardware community has moved onto the 7xx series already and it needed to be RMA'd and I never got around to it. Actually I have a lot of hardware sitting on my desk. Hmmm.
Oh, yeah, I have an extra HL2 from my orange box also. So if anyone wants that. ^^
And because I hate auctioning/selling stuff via the internet and no one in town is a nerd I'll be giving away a MSI 8600GTS OC probably, $160 retail at time of purchase.
Oh, one last thing. Please, don't expect me to be timely - in fact, you will probably need to send me more than one message to rouse me from my slumber. I hate mailing things. PM me the address and I'll get around to it sometime. =D
