I made a thread a LONG time ago about a class I think would be cool. Let me dig it up.
Edit: HERE IT IS!
[blockquote]
Basic Information
Class Name
Electrician
Position
Offense, but she is fairly good at defense in certain maps. (She you say? Well, yes, we don't have any womanly classes yet (unless of course you count the insert most hated class name here, *nudge nudge*)).
Weapons
Primary
Electric Gun - Strike Mode - 40 ammo - Medium Range - Shoots a beam of lightning towards an enemy. Isn't very accurate as you can expect lightning to be, which is why it is medium range instead of long ranged.
Secondary
Electric Gun - Wave Mode - 6/36 ammo - Similar to the Shot gun, except it shoots beams of lightning in the wave cone instead of Enemy team shot. Reloads by a battery replacement.
Melee
Horseshoe Magnet - The Electrician holds the magnet at the base (The two prongs sticking out on the sides of her fist) and she punches with it.
Specialties
Strengths
Well, as every class has it's special strengths, so does the Electrician. The Electrician's strengths are up against machines and enemies in water. The Strike Mode does 2 times the damage against these two specifics, and the wave mode does 1.5 times the damage. (In the case it's a machine under the water, it does double the extra damage boost).
Weaknesses
Enemies at long range are her biggest weakness, as her lightning bolt tends to head out in some crazy direction when it gets too far. She is also very vulnerable to the Pyro. (Why? Well, Pyros wear rubber from head to foot so I can see that they have resistance against the electricity.)
Super Move
The Electrician is able to super charge friendly Machines. Perhaps depending on the machine... Once ready to deploy (Charges over time similar to the Spy's Cloak), use it on a single machine. It would multiply the Sentry Gun's damage by 20 percent (Adding assist kills to the electrician for every time the sentry gets the kill). The Dispenser would get a boost that allows it to detect incoming spies 40% of the time, And the Teleporter would recharge 50% faster.
The Length of this effect is up to debate.
Extra Stuff
Voice
Accent
Canadian
Battle Cry (One Suggestion)
"Put a Socket in it!"
Cheers (One Suggestion)
"Unlimited Power!" (Similar to what Emperor Palpatine said in Star Wars Episode 3)
Jeers (One Suggestion)
"System... Rebooting..."
Appearance
Up to debate, however, I'd like to see possible burn marks on her face (As in a machine just blew up in her face and left some black residue). And I think her hair should be really frizzy with a white stripe going up one side (Possible Bride of Frankenstein Hair? Maybe.)
Also, twitchiness would be good here. [/blockquote]
