It seems like it will be like call of duty matchmaking lobbies. Not much information is being given but i belive that community servers will not be popular with Battlefront because of the lack of a server browser.

Yeah not much news coming out after the beta and server browser announcement, which is kinda sad to see... Having no dedicated servers is a no go for me for any paid multiplayer game, But I wonder if they are going so far as to have zero servers for the game and run everything on dreaded peer to peer?

Keeping my fingers crossed for dedicated servers. What a shame if they do not implement those.

Looks like the game will have dedicated servers and not horrible horrible horrible Peer to Peer!!!!*

*But all the servers will be ran and operated by EA/DICE with no server browser. Seems they are sticking with the Matchmaking and "skill" based criteria for finding a server and filling it with players in your "skill" bracket.

Not a fan at all of matchmaking. Especially for a multiplayer only game :/

Le pass for me till the game goes for sub $60 for premium. So all I have to do is wait six months and hope people are still playing the game :P

People always end up finding the best servers. It'll be just a matter of time before they find us!

I think you are missing the point. The game has no server browser or anyway of finding a server other then the quick play button (Find a Match).

So my guess is that Edgegamers will not be hosting a server in which they will have no control over (No server admin tools).

That's correct. EA will own all servers, which are dedicated servers so no peer to peer.
