Battlefield Division A Big Thank you

As some of you know BlackBeardSraw pc went up in flames and one of our members STRNGRDANG3R started a post http://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=288802 about Helping a fellow member in need. Some of us came together and donated in parts, so he could enjoy playing with us in battlefield. With that said a BIG THANK YOU to the following Members.

Here is a quote that he made after we started all this.

You guys are great! Just reading through this almost brought me to tears. This is a rough and sometimes terrible world we live in but this has restored my faith in the power of friendship.

This may just be some old parts to you but to me its sooo much more.
After my wife passed away, I went through the range of emotions one could expect. I somehow landed in the Locker server and it gave me something to do again. My kids can only distract me for so long so once they're asleep, I'm back to being trapped in my head.

Once I was invited into teamspeak, I did something I hadn't done in months....i laughed!

You all could probably imagine the state of mind I was in at the time...
Wondering if I made her happy while she was here.
Wondering if I could feel anything again.
Wondering if I could find happiness without her.

In short, going absolutely crazy, but having myself feel enjoyment again...feel what its like to laugh again. Let me know its possible, with time, to be back to my old self.

While to you, it may have seemed like you just killed me with a flashbang or the bow. To me, it provided a small glimmer of hope because it made me feel something other than dread.

I know you probably didn't want to read a short novel but I needed to let you guys that participated how much of an impact just having someone to talk to made on me.

Thank you soo much for the help you've given me and I sincerely look forward to seeing you on the battlefield soon.

Wow!!!

I can't imagine what your going through. I think there was a reason I invited you onto teamspeak. It was so we could have such a great friend. It took alot of courage to tell us what you are going through. Hearing things like this gives us all hope that the world can be agood place after all. To some this is just a game and community of killing others online. But for those of us who go through crap in the real world this community and this game is so much more than what they the naysayers can imagine. I feel blessed to have you and the other eGo members as friends. Its always a brightspot in my day when we get in here and laugh it up.

Thanks for joining us brother, I can't wait for you to get back in here and kill us all again, lol.

It was amazing to see people come together like we did and help some one out the way this Battlefield community has just done! Like Surprise said, this really is more than what most people think! I couldn't have imagined people coming together like this to help some one out, and it makes me very proud to be a part of it I had no idea what all blackbeard had been thru and what hes was dealing with, which makes this all that much more special and heart touching! eGO = Family For Life!
