I hate how both games have workshop guns/skins you have to buy to use. How dumb is that ? Is it just a way for Valve to make money off of some1elses work ? I definitely wouldn't be making any mod items for Valve unless i got half of the money they receive from my mod item :chair:

They receive 25% of revenue from direct sales of their items. Im pretty sure this includes valves cut on market sales as well as keys to open the respective case. If your item is bundled with another, the revenue will be divided among all publishers.

Well for CSGO, the skins are cosmetic. They do not impact gameplay at all, they are just for show. So considering you don't need them to alter gameplay at all, I wouldn't consider them add-ons or mods. Definitely more for show than anything.

Yep. I have no problem with companies charging for cosmetic items.
