Tech Help Steam web browser taking me back to desktop?

So whenever I go to a site that has ads, I immediately get sent to my desktop screen. I go back in and its fine. I have no idea what causes this so I require assistance.

A few questions -

- Do you run any other programs in addition to Steam? If so, can you list them

- What AntiVirus Software do you have?

- Any website(s) in specific that you frequently use in the Steam Browser that this happens on?

Programs: Skype, NVIDIA Geforce Experience, Razer synapse.

No anti-virus softwars installed.

Just websites with ads. Like the ego website for example.

One other I forgot to ask -

Is there a pop-up ad or pop-up window at all when it goes back to desktop, or a new tab/window when you go back into Shift-Tab?

the command prompt pops up for like a split second but thats it

My best guess is some type of virus/malware/adware etc.

A relative of mine who is a tech also thought the same thing when I asked him about it.
