Have you tried restarting steam?

I think that is similar to the crawl/walking glitch that happens sometimes. [I have also heard that you can start recording a demo, end it and it should fix the issue]

Do a right-click on the DoD:S game and go to the properties. Look for Verify Integrity of Game Cache under Local Files. It should scan the game and make sure everything is there, and if not it will get what it needs from Steam. That's what I do when CS:S or CS:GO is messed up unless someone else has encountered a similar problem and knows a better fix.

its been happening for weeks now, i`ll try the record demo thing and see what happens

A few questions -

- Does your game lag or skip at all, particularly when this issue happens?

- Before this happens did you use Alt-tab or Windows key?

- Are your drivers up-to-date?

- Do you have any other applications running in the background while playing? If so, can you please list them?

- In your games Advanced Video settings, do they have a * next to them? (indicating it is the recommended setting for your system, as mentioned on the bottom of the video setting window)

- Alt+Tab and/or using the windows key is known to causes glitches such as this while in-game

- Based off the images you provided - are you using a joystick or gamepad while playing DODS, or do you have one plugged in but don't use while playing the game?

If you don't use a joystick/gamepad, check to see if the option for it in the games' settings is enabled and disable it if it is. Likewise, if you don't use one but have one plugged in in addition to a mouse, unplug it from your computer.

- As far as the console spamming "Tell Matt" messages..these came with the recent game update..hopefully Valve gets another update out fixing that and a few other things they broke..

- Does this happen only on specific server(s)?

- When you verified the game files (as suggested by Helpless Glint), did it find anything?

i have no joystick or game pad plugged in, it happens on all servers and it did not find anything :(

alright i`ll trry that as well

If you havent done this in a while, or ever, it makes a HUGE difference. It puts everything where it needs to be to run your game as smoothly as possible. I do it every couple of days, and especially after any updates... of which we had one recently

Hm..

A few other options you could try:

Additional option for Verifying Game files
Completely exit Steam
Right-click on the shortcut which you use to launch Steam
Select "Run as Administrator"
Launch Steam again and try verifying game files

Note: Do not run the verification process while performing other system-intensive processes, such as defragmenting your hard drive or scanning for viruses.
Do not run this process for multiple games at the same time.

Repair Steam
Exit Steam.
Click Start > Run
Type the following command:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair

(If you have installed Steam to another path, please replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam with the correct path.)

This command requires administrator privileges and may take a few minutes.
Launch Steam and test the issue again.

Exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).

Delete all of the files in this folder except for the following (If you want to, you can delete the files not mentioned below but not permanently delete them in your trash/recycle bin application just in case):

- \Steamapps\ and \Userdata\ folders

- Steam.exe (this file is listed as an application and features the black and white Steam logo)

Restart your computer.

Then, you will need to launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut.

With Steam running, re-test the original issue.

Note: This process will not affect your currently installed games.

Let me know if you have any questions, comments or issues
