Recruting the top players

Looking at hlstats X, here is a list of top players who are not clan members.

I'm not a recruiting officer and it is not my place to say i will try to recruit these people for the clan but nonetheless, i'd like to see them join.

here they are:

Seeing their playing time and their rank, i assume they respect our rules and dont get kicked. Potential candidates?
 
Well, bub and cocstudent play at warpath a lot, we could probably get them to join easily, but Comic is already in a clan I believe.
 
Just because they have high stats doesn't mean they're eGO material. Just so you know ARs recruit people that they play with and see that they are good players and feel would be a good addition to the team. Still glad that you're noticing these things, I'll be sure to lookout for them ^^

I know you mean, not everybody is eGO material... seen it before.
 
The pFm clan is a good group of players, but if we got one we'd have to recruit all of them. I've heard they're just 3, and Voltaire says 6, so it'd be do-able, but I think they just enjoy playing on our Warpath server. It's always good to have regulars who are just a part of the public, as it gives a good role model without the aversion to authority that some players have. A friendly invite wouldn't hurt, but we shouldn't be pushy.
 
One of the good ones is Expunged, and he's most often found on our 2fort servers. He's an outstanding player, and does an excellent job of respecting the rules. I've asked him before about joining, but he says he would rather not be attached to any particular group. Just so everyone knows :-)
 
Right, Herm... you've been Ninjafluffed too many times. It's beginning to affect your mind!
 
I tell you what, some of them still liked to be asked to join ... it makes them feel important and sometimes they consider joining after a few times.

But hey, it's a free country.
 
In my opinion, it's not all about what rank you hold because of your stats. I'm not saying they're not good people or anything. You know what I mean though ;)
 
Since when are stats or play time any indication of quality of character?

Just because they've played on our servers without getting banned doesn't automatically mean they're eGO material.
 
That's unfortunate. She was fun to play with, but we do require a playing environment both clean and free of disputes.
 
These people must enjoy their servers if they play on them frequently. Asking if they would like to join won't hurt, but it is important not to become to aggressive. They may not want to join because they don't want to be bound to a strict set of rules or feel an obligation to a set of servers. Maybe they want to try out a variety of servers from different clans instead of being dedicated to one community.

On the note of recruiting, NEVER bribe people to join by saying that we offer cake. I tried that once in an allusion to portal (It was just for fun; I didn't expect to get tons of people to join). People got the joke, but the best way to recruit is to show that teamwork and a sense of being part of a dedicated team is what exists on our servers. eGO members have to be leaders and fun people. I guess it is a good idea to recruit when a team has just won and players are feeling great inside while saying "gg."
 
But then if you recruit bub then there will be lots of confusion...

What do you mean Kaiwi won't exactly follow eGO rules? Just confusing to me. If they play on our servers a lot and haven't got in any trouble, they are already following the rules, lol.

But true, top scores don't always mean good players. If anything, the most accurate thing to look at if you're using stats is their total playtime. However, our fellow advisor, chrisbliss18 made us Admin Recruiters a handy tool in which we use to recruit. :)

EDIT- BTW BuB, if they join and you already have the name they do, they have to change theirs.
