Hey everyone,
So I plan to build a gaming PC soon and of course need some really good gear! I was thinking Razer but they have some good and iffy reviews so I'm a little nervous to buy from them. My buddy has the Blackwidow keyboard and it seems nice but I wanna know if I can get something better. So what kind of mouse, keyboard, and headset do you guys recommend?

Thanks I appreciate the help! :)

If you want an ergonomic keyboard go for the Microsoft Ergonomic 4000. As for the mouse, I use the Logitech MX518. I've had it for a long while now and its held up very well.

I use a razer blackwidow stealth for my keyboard. For mice, I use the logitech protius 502.

Got a budget to work with? Do you need it more for FPS gaming or MMORPG?

Razer does make good mice and keyboards, I'm not sure of your budget for them though. Are you looking for everything, including headsets and all peripherals?

I don't really have a budget, money isn't a problem. But yes I need a mouse, keyboard, and headset. I'll be playing more fps than anything, but I'm gonna play all different types of games. So yes, mainly fps

Headset wise, do you want wired or wireless? I would recommend an Astro Headset, they have a great mic, Noise canceling ear cups, and doubly surround. I use the A40's personally and I love them. Plus the mic is removable so you can just use them as headphones

Wired cause I play a lot so I don't wanna stop and charge. But I took a look and those look really nice I'll definitely consider them! Thanks :)

Get a ducky shine, one of the best keyboards in my opinion,

I own a chroma blackwidow and personally like the ducky shine better.

I love my astro headphones =) you can always upgrade and by the amplifier later if you need it.

lots of recommendations for astros in here, they are good but you will find much better sound quality and more comfort from headphones like the sennheiser hd 598s, or the beyerdynamic dt 770s, which you can just buy a modmic and stick it on

i play competitive cs, so my preferences may be a bit different from yours but there is one thing i can tell you: you DO NOT want any razer products, they are cheaply made and you can find higher quality products for cheaper from other companies

this is the setup i would recommend:

mouse : great ergonomic design, will work for almost any grip, super precise and havent had any problems with it : Logitech g400s
keyboard : simple and is a tank : SteelSeries 6gv2
mousepad : SteelSeries QcK+
microphone : modmic
(budget) headphones : this is probably one of the best closed pair of headphones you can buy, and they are like 50 dollars : [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Gemini-HSR-1000-Professional-Monitoring-Headphones/dp/B006Y2BI04/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8"]Amazon.com: Gemini DJ HSR-1000 - Professional Monitoring Headphones: Musical Instruments@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/419NPIu3hnL.@@AMEPARAM@@419NPIu3hnL[/ame]
(no budget) headphones : sennheiser hd 598

I recommend looking at some SteelSeries stuff, I have their APEX keyboard, It's great, has so many customizable options. I'm thinking about buying their Sibera V3 PRISM headset aswell, I'm not sure how good their customer support is though.
