Good News First There will be dedicated servers period oh yea

By Luke Karmali EA has confirmed the Star Wars Battlefront beta will be around 7GB on PS4 and Xbox One, while the PC version will clock in at around 11GB.

Additionally, the beta will be available to pre-load on PC from 1am PT / 4am ET / 9am GMT on October 7 by looking in the appropriate section of the Origin store.

To get ready for the beta, EA and DICE detailed the Hero System for Star Wars Battlefront recently, which lets players take control of characters like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. The father and son are playable in the early test for the game.

When Star Wars Battlefront officially launches in November, there won't be server browsers for the multiplayer modes. But DICE is promising dedicated servers for the online action game.

So No admins?

No official eGO server?

Great so no Peer 2 Peer which is the worst online experience next to GFWL.

Having dedicated servers but no way to choose what server you want to join kills a community before it could get off the ground. Hell it almost defeats the purpose of dedicated servers...

And it means that whenever EA/DICE decide to end the game because they don't want to keep the servers up the game goes poof. It seems ridiculous to do this to the PC community.
