I am Happy to announce the Battlefield 4 EdgeGamers tournaments. In these tournaments you will have a chance to play with or against some of the top players in the EdgeGamers Battlefield 4 division. There will be two tournaments that you can participate in, a "1v1", and a "5v5". Each tournament takes place for two weeks in April, August, and December.

Rules

RULES:

• EdgeGamers Code of Conduct
  1. No foul, degrading, or racist remarks.
  2. No inappropriate or disrespectful sprays or names.
  3. All sprays and avatar icons used on eGO servers should be PG-13 rated. No nudity is allowed. Final decisions on what is acceptable are left up to the admins in the server.
  4. No drug references in names, chat or sprays.
  5. No cheating, cheat scripts, barrier jumping, map exploits or hacks of any kind.
  6. No griefing.
  7. No F10 or Alt-F4 jokes.
  8. No advertising in servers.
  9. No names or sprays that advocate or oppose a political figure, political stance, religion or nation.
  10. No website URLs in names, sprays or avatars.
  11. No impersonating admins.
  12. No arguing with, or pestering admins in-server.
  13. Do not disrupt the server in any way.
      • Allow our guests to speak in their native language providing it's not monopolizing the chat. If a player is monopolizing, ask them to either speak English or minimize their chat time. Use common sense on whether to W/K/B based on chat infractions.
  14. Although players in Battlefield games may use foul language similar to that which is coded into the game, eGO members may not use such language and no player will be allowed to use language in a disrespectful way.
      • Acronym swearing such as wtf, lmao, fubar, bs, etc are ALLOWED. The exceptions are : STFU and GTFO because they are usually directed at someone in a disrespectful way.
  15. Admins have final say in server.

  1. Do Not Enter Uncaps!
  2. Do Not Fire Into or Towards Uncaps Unless Being Fired Upon
  3. Do Not Fire Explosives Into Uncaps
  4. Do Not Fire Mortars and UCAVs Into or From Uncaps
     • You can fire a SUAV from Uncap, but not into.
  5. Do Not Go Out of Bounds or Through Redzones to Advance Position
     • You are not allowed to move/go backwards through the Redzones to avoid fire.
  6. Exploiting Redzones and Glitches is Prohibited
  7. Do Not Be Disrespectful Towards Players or Admins
  8. Griefing Players and Equipment is Not Allowed
  9. No Hacking, No Cheating, and No Exploiting
  10. Server Disruption is Not Tolerated
  11. Racism and Bullying Is Not Tolerated in the Server
  12. Advertising Is Not Allowed In the Server
  13. Do Not Fire Tanks and AA Vehicles From Uncaps
  14. Do Not Camp Vehicles In Uncaps
  15. Vehicles Engaged In Battle Can Be Shot While Retreating
  16. Do Not Fly Helicopters Into Enemy Main Spawn Bases or Uncaps
  17. Admins Have Final Say on Rules

  1. Seeding will be based on these two algorithms.
     • playerSkill = (KILLS / DEATHS) + (SPM/100)
     • squadSkill = (playerSkill[1] + playerSkill[2] + playerSkill[3] playerSkill[4] + playerSkill[5]) / 5;
  2. Map selection will be made by the player or squad with the lower skill.
     • If the players/squads have the same skill then the map will be chosen at random.
  3. If a player is found breaking the rules it will follow the w/k/(disqualify) procedure per game.
     • 1st Infraction) Warn;
     • 2nd Infraction) Kick; If there are no players left on that players team then the other player/squad wins.
     • 3rd Infraction) Disqualification form the current Season.
  4. If the match is not spectated by one of the designated admins IT DOES NOT COUNT.
  5. If a player does not show up to the match at the approved time he/she forfeits.

• To sign up for the next season please follow this link

• You can view the next season bracket HERE when it is posted.
• Once the next season bracket has been posted you need to send a pm to your opponent to schedule a date and time for the match.
• If an admin can not spectate the game you may be asked to change your date and time.
• When you have your date and time solidified send a pm to agent6262 to let him know.
• After that you are ready to go.
