I wouldn't go with spraypaint (have bad experiences with it, e.g. not coming out as it said it would leaving me with a nice glow of whatever colour i put on)

Well, my hair is dark dark, so there's little chance of (a) kool-aid staining it, and (b) me deciding that I just have to put kool-aid in it. No worries.

Dark Dark hair is hard to dye period. I dont think kool aid would really effect it Im not even sure if you would be able to tell??

I did the Blue once, too. It turned a couple of cool variations of teal and aqua before it was totally gone. It was fun, like Christmas. Didn't know what color it was going to be that day. It was a fun challenge trying to match my tights or socks to it though. But, since I also tried to do dreds in HS, I might not be such a good source for hair care info.

lol Purple. Yeah mine changed different colors of blue and green. It just lasted way too long for my taste.
