Found this article and thought it was extremely important for people to read. I don't think it's right that the internet should destroy people's lives for a few comments made in a lapse of judgement.

Thats the thing about the internet. The whole world can see what you do. You really need to watch what you do/post publicly on the internet.

It is a major negative effect of social media. Anything you post can be used against you so be responsible in posting online. "Think before you click".
