Hey guys, it Beg. Cross your fingers for me, Corpus Christi is like flooding and it's supposed to get worse today and tomorrow... Water is about 300 meters down the road from my house, day before this started it was firmly a mile from my house, so, it's hopefully going to stop? Guys cross your fingers, I'm seriously getting paranoid about the gulf. I think it wants to move inland... Oh God of whatever, do not flood my house! XD We have insurance though, so... Idk, we'll be fine hopefully. Wow gg Patricia

Best of luck beg! You know I was lucky and didn't get any damages here in South Carolina when it flooded so bad so I hope you'll be as lucky.

Hope it works out for you.

Epic that pic is crazy.

Beg hope all is well. U are always welcome to come up to Austin for safe haven :)

good luck beg!!!!!!!! i know it's rained a ton up here in Fort Worth, but yall down south are gonna take a beating way more than we did!

Well, it looks like the worst has passed and our little patch of sand is still here. Man that was a lot of rain lol I appreciate the support and the crossing of your fingers lol, the tide has not gone down, but it's not coming up either. I think we're good, I hope you guys in Htown and Dallas are ok! Seriously, be careful Doppler, Scribby. That flood water is faster than I thought it was. Thanks Rip. I bet SC got it worse than we did though. Honestly, I'm surprised at how fast this all happened... GG Patricia. At least I didn't have to swim lol

Glad to hear that Beg!

Oh man, last night was scary! The sky was orange behind the rain clouds because the sun was still setting and the clouds looked dark, but the horizon was bright orange all the way around XD There were tree branches flying everywhere and that rain was coming in sideways, man, I forgot how serious a rainstorm can actually get!

That sounds like a typical Florida thunderstorm there. Glad everything's Okay.

You'll be fine. The warning was for Mexico.

XD Yeah I wasn't worried about the wind so much as the rain... It flooded a whole bunch of Texas but I don't think it was too severe in most places. I've never seen the bay that high up before, it was pretty scary realizing that the ocean was coming inland :scared: but it stopped raining and the tides have gone down, so we fared pretty well. Yeah, that rain was a bit excessive to say the least lol:)

Glad you made it thru OK :)

Thanks Skyjacker! I have been having some internet issues ever since it flooded, the cable company is supposed to be coming out tomorrow to give it a look see. Hopefully I'll be up and running with solid bandwidth here tomorrow... Hopefully :)
