Playing on the Dustbowl #2 server. The team decided on many occasions to do specific rushes of one class. We all had a great laugh and im sure the opposing team did as well.

Medic rush, we attempted to get all medics to uber each other but we rushed before everyone had uber ready.

We thought it would be funny if the other team saw themselves rushing at them. We got mowed down by a couple pyros in seconds.

Then we needed firepower and a heavy rush was key, we did manage to capture the first point!

There was a few sentry guns and we formulated a scout bat rush to deal with them. We did not make it near them.

9 medics and 1 heavy, it might have worked but we did not have the coordination.

Literally everyone on our team was an engineer, made it really easy to pic out spies until they started being engineers as well. But we reacted fast and assigned a pyro to protect our structures. We had 11 engineers and 1 pyro. This was probably my most entertaining game ever in tf2. We actually almost managed to win.

Lol another mass of engys i see. One day you should organize for all eGO's in the servers to go a specific class just for fun

The key to winning in a spy rush, is to have everyone disguise as a friendly heavy, then when the gate opens, everyone cloaks and rushes for the point.

Yup. We did this on Dustbowl a while back, on the final map. Half went for point, half went for the next point. Had to have one person split off to sap sentries while we capped, though. Two hit combo in just a few seconds and then we all ran around shooting people with revolvers. They didn't know what hit 'em.

Mass engies = a dream for an ubered demoman.

Not if the engies are smart and build in varying locations.

Which we did not :)

Man, I was there on the other team, it was so awesome. I just happened to pick Pyro before spy your rush, dang, I was lucky.

I'm the Pyro in the 7th picture, soon after, I was a bloody pulp.

Its great fun to all go engy and set up on 2nd cap, that way your SG's will be a stage 3. Rarely win, but lots of laughs.

Hmmm...it seems like almost any single class could hold their own if you had 16 of them rushing. Heavies can lay down a wide line of fire that would make a Revolutionary War veteran blush. Medics can pwn with their 17% (something like that) chance to crit with the bonesaw, and a chain of heals will frustrate any defense. Soldiers would be 16 one man armies, along with demomen who could use a variety of tactics like making lines of stickies for defense or a pure explosive rush. Scouts, when working together in a loose clump, can be one hell of a hornets nest. Engies need coordination but seem to be the best defense if spread out far enough. Snipers could be formidable with a row of rifles in the rear, submachine guns in the middle spraying and a few brave souls swinging their machetes up close. Spies would be an evil little conundrum as 16 of them spinning revolvers and stabbing faces, ducking into cloaks and disguises after the initial fray, could end the round quick.

The only class that could take the cake, in my humble opinion, would be the Pyro. 16 pyros rushing with a shotgun volley, then dealing insufferable damage over time would beat almost anyone. Pyros Vs. Engies would have a very predictable outcome, but if it's one class rushing Vs. a standard mixup of classes, a group of 16 pyros would win almost every time. Surprise is the key for any of these scenarios, and I highly recommend we hold an event to test out each of these variables.
