Yes it's time for the annual Payday Halloween event, initially arriving as the Safehouse Nightmare the first two years, we now have an actual "new" heist in which to be spooked on! See, we know that all those ghouls and ghosts will be trick or treating for candy, so why not cook up a homemade batch of meth to distribute? Except that it'll be a bit harder since the Book of the Dead fell open and shrank everything squishy (read: any human being) down to the size of a teeny tiny bug... So now you not only have to cook the meth while defending against Bulldozers and Cloakers and whatnot, but you'll have to do it while running around on top of the table with lots of hazards too!

Oh, and did I mention the spider that's been spotted around the desk? I think I did...

No problem, I tend to hate using the Steam news thing because it always wants to open in my browser anyway when reading more on patches/whatnot. Also just noticed how badly cleaned that poster is... Bad Overkill! No anti-cloaker treat for you today!

Well, Day 2 hits and reveals that

1. The Headless Titandozer is back for the Safehouse Nightmare "heist" once again. And...

2. That Cloaker in the poster? Yeah he's actually an enemy in the minimeth cookoff... And he's actually that size. Wonder if we kill him if we get a Cloaker mask...

Halloween launches as we get the return of the 4 original masks (Frank, Witch, Jack, and Zenomorph), along with two new ones you obtain through achievements in the Lab Rats heist!

First up is the Invader mask, which looks awesome, and is achieved for securing a bag in the secret area:

And then comes Satan himself, obained via defeating the Cloaker event in Overkill or higher!

And free melee weapon in the form of bolt cutters! And twice the inventory space for guns and masks that have been bought! And a new free song!
